A Summary on Machine Learning in Social Science

Two great papers I’d like to highlight today:

Machine Learning for Social Science: An Agnostic Approach
by Grimmer et al., 2021 and Machine Learning for Public Administration Research, With Application to Organizational Reputation by Anastasopoulus and Whitford, 2018

We live in a time of mass flood of data, and any fields should be ready to catch upon the waves and break it.

Do you want to get swamped in the past, or would you like to march towards the future?

Machine Learning is the future, and we all should be very careful of it. To not get behind, but also to not get exploited by it.
